This ride is a quick and fun one. The ride is located in the South
Lake Tahoe Area. The total vertical in this ride is only 820 feet, but
it has a great downhill. If you are strapped for time this ride is a great
choice.
|
From Highway 50 in Myers turn on Pioneer Trail and go 1 mile to Oneidas.
Take a right if your coming from Myers. Stay on Oneidas until you get to
the Forest Service Gate.
Ride up the paved road for approximiatly 3 miles.
This downhill has lots of fun banked turns and jumps. Follow this trail till the bottom. Once at the bottom there will be a road that goes to the left(Forest Service Road #12N17) follow it. After you follow this road for a short distance you will be back to the paved road that you climbed. Take a right and head back to the car. If you still have enough time do the loop again! |
