If you want to ski in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, this site is for you! This site is by far one of the most comprehensive sites of the Lake Tahoe area on the net. There is mountain weather, information about mountain biking, ski area information with snow reports or general Tahoe information.
The Lake Tahoe area is one of the most beautifully unique places in the country. With many ski resorts surrounding the lake, miles of mountain bike and cross country ski trails, and a lake to swim or sail on, this place is an active persons paradise.
This webcam, run by the folks at LakeTahoeCam.com (what did you expect?) is situated in North Lake Tahoe. It looks out onto the Sierra Nevada Range and the largest peak in the background is Mt. Tallac with a summit elevation of 9735ft.
